Yeeha!

yeeha is a word taken from a game i played when i was younger, happylanders. it was sounded when every time you finish a level, and that was when i was super happy cos a level could be very difficult to complete, so yeeha means im happy. :)

i've just come home from school. and school's getting greater even though the dreaded exams are inching closer. the cause is my friends! they are so nice and crazy. today, during english especially, diane, elyssa and i were crapping while we were doing our compre. and as a result all of us were high and i could not concentrate. im not surprised if i get lots of questions wrong! i wish that we will be forever on such good terms till the end of next year, and maybe beyond that. i hope the enthusiasm of our friendship will never die out. :)

this days, the trying days before exam, i have been relying on 2 things to relieve stress.
1. ice cream! im really afraid that i will grow obese, or maybe my body's in the process alr. i have been eating chunks of ice cream! cos my bought this 1 litre of ice from the supermarket. and sis has her tub of ice cream too. so i eat and indulge! haha. ice cream's the best to relieve stress for me.
2. charlie chaplin! this guy's so darn hilarious. just watch him for a while and u will burst into squeals of laughter. the boxing video is the best so far. lol, i laughed my guts out!
i think i will show it here, then all my very stressed friends can have a laugh too! :)

lol! so funny huh!

unconsciously, im been ending every paragraph with a smiley! this means im really yeeha!

Wedding dinner

i dun really have lots of time to talk about the wedding, although it was really enjoyable! the food and seeing samuel! lol. haha, marina mandrin serves good food, or u could say that the food chosen was great. there were courses like sharks fin, lobster and jellyfish, etc... the desert was shiok too! mango pudding with ice cream!
okay, instead of a lor sor essay, im sure you are more interested in pictures. so lemme allow the pics to tell the story. :)

the 2 mums! mum and i went to mama's house to pick her at 6.30. okay mum and mama were discussing money for the hong bao, that explains the money that they are holding.

the three cousins. julia, samuel, and i
when we reached the hotel, we were directed to the ballroom, to table 38, not long later, auntie hannah came along with her family and of course, samuel!

the aspiring doctor? haha, samuel is clad in my sister's white coat from school. she had come from school and told me she had touch a dead body, as in to examine it. uh hem!

er jie and samuel! the two of them are cute!

from L, my mum's sis auntie hannah - mum - mama!

samuel and i, he is so cute and so darn smart. haiz, he reads chinese epics in chinese that i hardly understand, well that is, he tries to understand, but his chinese is so much better than mine. some more, he knew about the brownian motion before i did.

taking picture with the bride's mother, auntie jenny. she's my mom's cousin. so there are two sets of cousins here, auntie hannah and auntie jenny, samuel and me (or my sis). well, auntie jenny looks well younger than her real age!

taken with the bride's family. the bride's in the middle with her husband. on the right is her younger sis and her husband. on the left is her brother and her mum.

yeps, so that's the wedding for you. ps, one of my favourite songs, 你今天要嫁给我 was sung. and i was so excited! haha. :)

Extra stuff

hmm... how cute were you when you were young? i think i was tonne loads cute. okay, self-comliments do not get anywhere, but it's a fact right!

who is me (sic)? haha. of course the smaller one. i was 2 then. and look at my GINORMOUS eyes! single eyelid somemore!
the one beside me is my er jie, she looks jap right?

my mom said my way of expressing happiness was to stick out my tongue, haha, so adorable! i obviously had no cares in the world!

and this mon, im going for my relative's wedding dinner! yay! and i will get to see samuel and see how handsome and smart he's got! whee! i love samuel loads!!

Jurong Birdpark

today, i went to somewhere special. that is the jurong birdpark! haha, although it might sound boring and uncool to go there for young people, i think it was really fun. lemme tell you why.

1. i had company from 3 of my church friends, natalie, claudia and iva.
2. the admission was free. (thanks to kong wee's help)
3. the place had a revamp, and the it's much more appealing and looks more refurbished
4. the particular 2 bird shows that i watched were very entertaining. (actually they are the only 2 birdshows, the 'birds n buddies' and the 'birds of prey show'). there were quite a few changes made to the shows, making them fresher in presentation, unlike what was shown in the past which were all smiliar for the almost 5 visit i had made. i will tell more about it later.
5. the lory loft! that's where we really got up close to touching birds, in fact they came to us! will tell more later.
6. the waterfall though fake is the only waterfall in singapore, i think.. it was really refreshing just to stand near it. :)

okay, 6 reason! wow! that's amazing for such a small place. u noe, my friends and i were making a joke on how small singapore is. we were sort of complaining that the birdpark was rather small and there was not really that much to see, and put blame on singapore for being so tiny. (that didnt mean we didnt complain about walking, i admit, i did the most complaining. ;)) so when we walked past the ostrich enclosure, my friend spotted the ostrich eggs and remarked that they were so small, unlike those that we have seen elsewhere, then i quipped, 'everything in singapore is SMALL..' haha, and everyone laughed.

okay, back to the very beginning, at 12.45, i met nat and then we made our way down to boon lay. there, we meet up with claudia and iva. we took 194 and arrived at the bp. we had free admission and went to the world of darkness. we saw many many owls. there was a pair of dunno-what-breed owls and witnessed them turning their heads 360 degrees! it was quite freaky! haha. and there were some that stared at you with seeming-evil eyes that made you feel like breaking the eye contact before the owl seemed like it was going to gorge your eyes out.

at the entrance, bestfriends - claudia (L) and iva(R)

at the entrance too, with the same bird, best friends - nat and me!

okay, this is the cool head-turning pair. oh that's a pun! well they are truly head-turning because of their beauty and have the ability to head-turn. the one in front has a blurred head as it was turning its head while i took the shot. sorry, there's no video cos i wasn't quick enough.

next, we headed for the first show, the birds n buddies show. the most spectacular part of the show was the parrot speaking, conversing and singing for us! it was really hilarious when the bird spoke mandarin and made clear its intonations. i can say that its intonation's better than mine! haha, i had such a good laugh that my nose got choked and i was officially sick with running/block nose for the rest of the day. oh oh! claudia was one of the volunteers to hold the hoop for the bird to flor through! haha, kudos to her, she's so brave!

after the show, we went walking around until 4, which was the time slot for the 2nd show. the second show, as mentioned earlier, was the birds of prey show. the birds really got super close to the audience! the host of the show pretended to be a waiter and held a metal plate. on it, there was a piece of meat, the vultures (close to 7) had the task of trying to snatch the piece of meat off the tray, and of course gobble it up. and the audience's task was to scream whenever a vulture got close to the host and he would duck to prevent the vulture from achieving its goal. okay, that sounds lame, but it was exhilarating! the birds were such aggressive creatures that you cant help but feel like 'torturing' them. so the birds had to work very hard in order to get their piece of meat. through this whole process, the birds flew around the audience stand. swooping low many times, making the audience super excited. the pair of young girls seated behind me almost made me deaf with their incessant screaming. it show truly made everyone lively and alert. :)

after the show, the four of us went around for walk around the whole of the bp. i shall talk about the highlights. that is, the waterfall! the waterfall was cool! i just love rushing water, cos it's very relaxing and refreshing. and there, i met 3 koreans! well, they were ah sohs, but not bad leh, haha and i still had the courage to us one of them to help us take a group shot! actually i couldn't tell that they were koreans until nat told me after the pic was taken, then she prompted me to thank them in korean, but i didn't dare. lol.

with red birds, claudia and iva were disgusted with their colour, but well, red's my favourite colour, and i couldn't resist a pic with a background of red. :)

taken by the korean, not bad lah, cos she was really clueless at first on how to take a decent shot. haha, but she pass lah! the four of us are very happy here! the cool in the air!

best friends, but we are all good friends. iva has her hood on, upon my request. :)

next, we proceeded to the lory loft. there, we feed the lories. they are such adorable creatures, only to have one be flaw, they are super greedy! the do almost anything for food, even 'clawing' its feeder. that is what a bad bird did to me. well sort of lah, cos it flew on my back and i could feel it's claws, thank goodness they weren't talons! the bird soon rested on my shoulder and attempted to get some of the food in my hand, okay this bird was really desperate, it dropped all barriers and even came volunterrily into contact with some stranger in hope for a morsel of food. definitely not wise, but i am of course a every understanding and accomodating person, i did not shoo it away or punch it off, in short, i did not disturb it at all! (however, i was indeed quite afraid of it shitting on me!) haha!

a lory, oh my little lory! it's so rich in colour that it looks fake!

the 2 of them with greedy birds. argh lories are so greedy for food!

here, im feeding 3 lories, see! this is solid evidence that lories are really greedy! 3 birds squeezing their heads into a container to get their beak into some mash of bird food.

nat, she shrieks when birds are at close proximity! so this's a rare pic! she was so scared and was screaming non-stop! i took me pains to take this pic, nat.

taken at the lory loft entrance.
birds of a feather flock together? it seems really true!

claudia likes this soft toy, oh.. it's cute but it's only a soft toy. haha.

went to the penguin expedition, see the pic for a better description of the place.

at the penguin expedition. the penguins were sadly dead(not literally!). maybe they were napping after their meal time.

so we did not really have a chance to 'interact' with these swimming birds

upon exiting, we went though the souvenir shop. there i witness another pair of korean tourists. one was a middle-aged lady and a younger man, probably her son. they were requesting for something very interesting. guess... haha, they were requesting for parrots, not magnet ones, not soft toy ones, but real ones! the staff there had to explain to them that there wasn't sale of birds at the birdpark, instead, they could have a try at the pet shops. haha! this pair of tourist are so eccentric! i wonder how on earth they will transport the bird back to their country! maybe install gps on the bird and let it fly its way to korea! good idea!

ah, acting cute huh!

finally, after the trip at the bp, the four of us intended to catch a movie at jurong point, however, without very appealing movies available, we decided to forgo the movie. we went to eat dinner. the food was really good. i ate duck noodles, the duck was very nice! and nat ate tom yam noodles, whoa, very spicy i must say, but very very addictive! i drank some of her soup and almost could not tahan, but i still drank cos it was so addictive!

after dinner, we ate waffles and ice-cream at scoopz. it was nice! :)

after that, we headed for home. :)

tada! today was fun! haha

alright! i finally managed a short post! :)

Half of hols

i always blog during the long school breaks. hehe btw who doesn't? except for those exceptional few that should have the abbreviations R.I.P as their blog url.. yipee, this hols have been really nice. cos i have discovered a few LOVES of mine. actually only 2 lah, but i love them so much. :)
whee!

before i talk about my LOVES, i shall have a short recap of what has happened to me since the hols started. and im being as outdated as ever..

on fri, teachers' day was oakay...im glad that i managed to complete the feat of passing 10 teachers their teachers' day prezzie. u must wonder why i so kiasu, give so many teachers... (actually at first i only planned on giving at most 3 teachers) the reason is pretty simple, my mom being a ex-teacher empathised with my teachers and said that she wanted me to appreciate all of them for their effort in teaching me.. so that was it, i had to prepare presents for 10 teachers! and imagine how i did that, simple, haha. i just baked cookies lor... problem solved hehe. actually for the past 9 years in school, my mom, with me the helper, would bake something for my teachers, so it's been tradition. anyway, i bet the teacher's really like the baking cos my mom is a really seasoned baker. she quipped, "while my sisters were learning driving, i went for baking classes", saying that to justify the fact that, to date, she can't drive, after attending baking classes, she probably got busy with my sisters and i, so no time lor.. okay, back to the point. this year was a little special cos i suddenly remembered that i had not gotten gifts for my teachers at around 9pm on thurs (the day before my school's celebration of teachers' day). and mom was away for bs, so i gave a ring and she told me what i wanted to get them, then i thought maybe i would bake, which would be convenient and not that expensive. (remember i had to cater to 10 teachers..) so this year, i went solo. harhar. but i actually have a wealth of experience being the aide under my mom for the many times she baked. so i got cracking and baked, prepared the cards for the teachers etc. and i wasn't done til 1am.. so i slept quite late for my standards, well teachers, feel honoured!

the next day was good. my clique met in the canteen earlier to give out as many presents to the respective teachers, we foresaw an almost impossible chance of jostling through the throng later when all the students and all the teachers were on the loose, what chaos it would be, so we were smart and foresaw that situation.

later on for ACES day, i did hip hop dancing, or whatever you call it, for the first time in my life. you see, i really abhor dancing cos i think im not good at it at all, although i danced a little in p6, in the p6 farewell concert but i still resent dancing. what was worse for me, we were dancing to a christian song. u noe, im nothing against that, but the christian songs that i have been exposed through the 15 years of my life have been hymnal and very solemn kind of music, so it's pretty hard for me to singing along to pop christian music and what more dance! haiz, however, on the whole, i felt that it was a pretty good workout. my church thinks that pop christian music is abominable. okay.. i side-tracked..

after ACES day, we had break and i shared my cookies with my friends, they liked it and i was happy. then we gave out more presents, and the assembled at the hall for teachers' day celebration. the performances were oakay.. and the celebration was oakay too.

when the whole affair rounded up, my clique, except for shariel went to serangoon central for lunch. we tried to avoid eating at cafe cartel, but unfortunately, almost all other stalls were close, leaving me to my dreadful choice of ... cafe cartel. im really sick of if even though i had eaten there less than 5 times. even though i might enjoy the meal, i always, ALWAYS cannot finish the food! the food is definitely for larger bellies than mine, so after every meal, i feel very devastated, having to look at the unfinished meal and having thoughts lingering to less unfortunate people... btw, i dunno why, but i always buy the most expensive food within my clique whenever we eat at cafe cartel, so that restaurant is probably jinxed for me. no lah, im not superstitious, jk jk only.

when i got home, i dun remember doing anything, but one thing for sure, i started reading elyssa' must read, that is twilight, i soon got really engrossed in it... that's my first clue one of my loves. ;)

saturday- i went for tennis, as usual, and tennis was fun, as usual. after tennis, i went for lunch with nadine. we were on a shoestring budget as i, in my super forgetful mind forgot to get money from my dad who fetch us to heartland mall. so nad had only 5 plus and we shared a bowl of tom yam bee hoon on the second floor. hehe, you could say that we walked out with teary eyes and running nose. heh. but i feel that i can really ren spicy stuff better this time. after that, nadine went home and i got home to shower and then go out for the recce for my youth camp.

i met dorcas, iva and cheryl and boon leng mrt station, then we headed to camp christine. good thing dorcas knew how the drive, cos the place i must say is pretty hard to locate and hard to get there. and it was a really long way in even after the bus dropped u, so thanks dorcas! at camp christine, i had a pleasant surprise, it wasn't half as bad as what i had imagined it to be. the sleeping area was really quite well furnished, and there were facilities, just that we had to book for the usage of every single one of them. one con, u could say is that there is insufficient toilets, but i think humans can tahan 4 days without shower, well remember diane saying that she ever did. haha.

after the recce, i went to nadine house, we watch videos, played badminton, saw wang fei gu's unglams and laughed. haha! it was really exhilarating when we played miniclip games too.

saturday was thoroughly enjoyable.

on sunday, in church, i ate instant noodle for lunch (although there was proper food), nissin tom yam brand you noe! haha. i could tahan!

for dinner i went thai express and ate tom yam soup with glass noodles! i think im mad about tom yam now.. after dinner, while mom went to visit mama, er jie and i bought a box of venezia ice-cream and feasted on it for parts of the way home. while walking home (er jie says walking after dinner doesn't make you as fat as when you dont walk), er jie and i had a very honest talk about what we wanted our futures to be. man, i think her future is so full of promising results. a doctor, a housewife and all..

on mon, i read and read twilight. it was so nice! i noe im really slow in catching what's 'in'. for an example, i start going crazy over things like songs, movies, books when they are quite past their prime....

okay, i really like twilight and its series, i got info of all of them through the internet. the story's so catchy and i really hope that elyssa while lend me the books new moon and eclipse soon, if not i will resort to buying them myself if im really that desperate. i might be! so that's one of my loves! twilight... it's nice. and guess what! the movie's coming out this year, and the characters are all not-bad looking. so i will mark one day on my calendar to watch the movie in the cinema with at least elyssa, i bet she's as excited as me about the movie!

the second love, that is, the song on the right... way back into love, i find it nice. it came from the movie music and lyrics, which again was released last year and i only got to appreciate it this year, im so late huh. i like the song thanks to er jie, cos she kept playing it on her com on sunday after we came back. so i got interested and ask for the title of the song. then i got interested in the movie. i watched the movie online and it was not bad man! haha, it was really comical in many of the parts. i hope you the song as much as i like it.

okay, this is my intended short post. see how long it's grown.. haha, im really lorsor man! okay i shall catch my winks now. catch me in your good dream diane! (haha, inside joke)

Well duh!

darn! i think i did really bad for chinese oral! oral makes up an extensive component of 40% for the marks of my chinese EOYs. so im pretty screwed. lemme share with you why my instincts tell me so.

first of all, i read not fluently at all! agrh! im like that whenever and where ever im nervous, so i forgive myself for this fault.

secondly, i read a few words with the wrong intonation... haiz, it's always quite impossible for me to master the correct intonations for chinese characters. im feeling so lousy..

thirdly, during the conversation, my examiner, lin lao shi giggled several times eventhough i had not said some joke.. so that means she was laughing either at the way i pronounced the chinese words or i had totally used the wrong words. oh, im so goner!

fourth(ly), she asked about 3-4 questions in all... all you know what that means...

fifth(ly), there was a question i couln't catch very well, i dunno if it was my hearing problem or whether i really didnt understand it. haiz, she had to repeat it for about 3 times before i finally understood what the question was. i think she was getting impatient!

finally, although i can accept that my reading's horrid and my use of words isnt that great, she hinted that i had not given enough info. she asked me that dreadful question at the end, whether i had anything to add on. n i was was like HUH! and my mind went blank as sheet. all i could muster was a no. heck! so there goes my marks, downer and downer! if you dunno, when the teacher asks that question, it means that you had not said enough and you had to really add on. im very sure that i had said whatever i knew about the matter. i bet i said all the points, but sadly, i couldn't express them well at all... haiz...

okay, depressing things aside, let me talk about something happier.

this week, without anything, esp exams and er jie to compete with me for the com, i have been fantasizing with philippine movies. oh, i noe that's so bad cos i have been watching quite too many of them through this week. the first movie i watched was really touching and pointed to me the reality that married filippino maids face when they go back to their homeland. the movie's called anak, watch it and you are really in to shed tears! p.s, watch it with a box of tissue beside you and water too, to replenish your tears. yeah, you might think that im exaggerating, but no, it's really to that extent! haha, maybe you counld say that this movie made me sadder than happier. but the end was really fulfilling and thus i was happy in the end!

majority of philippine movies are known to be romance themed, and i have really enjoyed the movies that i've watched so far. good stories, good acting. the cast look really great too, the girls are eye-candies and the guys are just cool! haha, but i noe that it is rather unrealistic to have such a perfect match for every relationship, so im still on my right mind. :)

okay, im off to watch my show. :)

Mental health day

today in school, it was announced that next week's the health week for school. so we will be having health 'enrichments' in place of morning run. yay!

today when dad came home, he shared with me a farnie joke! since it was supposedly the mental health day today, his office had this joke circulating around and my dad shared it with me.

in the mental institute, there were 2 patients, one boy and one girl. one fine day, they went for a walk around the institute. they came to a pool and the boy got in, sadly, he did not know how to swim and was drowning. the girl jumped in and saved him on the nick of time. the following day, the matron of the institute came to praise the girl for saving the boy. and added that the girl was now declared mentally stable for saving the boy and could be discharged from the institute. however, she said, it was unfortunate that the boy had hung himself in the toilet. the girl ingenuously replied, 'oh, he didn't hang himself, i hung him there to dry! by the way, when will i be discharged?'

LOL this is so funny!

Vitas

vitas is just one of the best singers. a pity that he's russian, so majority of the songs are in a alien language to me. he's a great singer man. i just heard one of his songs and now im hooked on him. lol
i never knew the song ave maria, but after hearing vitas sing it, i love it! his voice heavenly. he also puts in a lot of feel into the song! :)

Madness

this a super freaky, the guy is crazy! i dont care if you dont understand what he's singing, it's france i think. just listen!

it makes my hair stand....

this guy's vitas. his song is really nice. well, it's supposed to be something like the phantom of the opera kind of music. yeah, so he can really sing. :)

haha, nat this is the taiwan vitas! you might find it farnie..

this guy's adam lopez, and he is currently a Guinness World Record holder for singing the highest note by a male — a half step above the C in the 8th octave (C♯8), or a half-step above the highest note on a standard 88-key piano.

At the wrong place!

haiz, im supposed to be catching my winks right now. tomr, i have eng formal letter writing, but my body's really defiant! it will only turn to sleeping mode when it's full fatigue, if not i cant sleep and will be tossing about and sweating and then the notorious mozzie will come and bite me and i will have more scars... haiz, so the moral of the story is dont sleep when your body isnt ready!
this post wasn't planned, but i thought it will be nice to mark this as my 5th post for july and my 75th post since creation. whoa, my blog has really progressed from nothing to some near 100-poster.
mum's been away for so long and thanks to her absence, i have been super unhealthy!!!! ate instant mee for lunch once, dinner is always outside food. and snacks include chocs, the baby flour ball, etc but on the flipside, i DO consume sufficient amounts of fruits! like tomato, watermelon, strawberries and many more! heh, now i feel how blessed to have good home cooked food when mum's around. i msis my pomfret and grouper and crab. haiz....
CTs coming up the week after next, i admit i have not be at all diligent in my work. haiz, i have succumbed to the reversi temptation! :( but managed to beat the experts! only a few times lah! maybe only 5% out of the many times i play.. lol, very good already lor..
yay, and im starting to feel comfortable in ce, i mean i feel very comfortable in ce. i love the friends there! lol, and next sat, we are going to have a church outing to bishan park and we are going to play games! hehe. but of course, fe will ALWAYS remain number one as it was where i grew up and made my first christian friends! i miss them real dear and ks too... hope it's still thriving!
finally, im going to witness er jie officially enter the U with her white coat! so cool! it so cool leh, the thought of have a doctor in your house... can get free mc! lol. but most importantly, im glad she got what she wanted and hope she will be able to save lives!
okay, i think my eyes are getting tired, tired enough to flutter, okay, that's a sign! i gtg! goodnight!

Is rahab's lie justified?

is rahab's lie justified? though the musical did not put much focus on the lie of rahab, saga aka timothy raised the question on my tagboard, so i shall discuss it, or rather, i will state my stand and then discuss.

this topic is really controversial! i rmb there was one ks camp when bro linus chua had discussed this. saga, were u there? :)

i think that rahab did not do wrong in this context cos i guess all this was pre-ordianed by God. i mean, im not trying to say that God, in his sovereignty and pureness, had to make use of a lie to protect His people. however, as u noe, God knew that such a thing would happen since the beginning of times and yet He did not prevent it. but i must correct any misunderstanding, i dont say that God approved of her lie. it is just that he made use of rahab, who told a lie in her human nature. (i hope im making sense! this topic is real hard to talk.)

also, the bible says that God will not put us under trials and burdens too heavy for us to bear. so if rahab had lied, i think if it was her only way then, and God will understand. duh, i dont feel too comfortable about saying how God felt about the matter. please forgive me if i sound too much. though rahab's lying was a clear cut sin, my opinion is that she is justified, given her situation.

and i dont doubt rahab's faith if you suggest that why didnt she trust God to save the spies instead of relying on her lie. when she lied, she very well knew the trouble she was puttting herself into by lying to the king's soldiers and trusted God for the way out. furthermore, she believed that God would be able to keep her house uncannily standing though the rest of the fortress fell.

i say this although im unable to rebutt the point that if rahab had not told a lie, God would still be able to save the spies, and through the incident manifest His power and greatness. haiz, but i still do think that rahab is justified, seeing the difficult cirsumstance she was facing.

so saga, what is your stand? :)

The PL musical!

woot! i absolutely loved the musical! whee! the acting was good, the script was good, the plot great too. the plot was about 3 girls who venture into jericho with a whimsical spirit. they get into trouble and the stress between the different levels of society become greater, these girl have to learn to depend on God to deliver them and overcome their obsatcles. the back drop of the story is the renown wall fall down plot of jericho in the bible. i feel that the story really reminded me of the clay marble, of dara and jantu. haha, the storyline seems so alike! but of course, while jantu died, micah lived.
i really like the potryal of the characters. i give the cast a 4 and a 1/2 out of 5. cos the mains were sec 1s, not that im trying to imply that the younger ones cant put off a good show, but they really proved me wrong during the show. kudos to kael, micah and dee! they were so funny. haha. of course, diane wasn't miscasted, she seemed so natural as a guy. ps, she looked so handsome! haha, that is in my opinion. lol. and i LOVE the shell-i-co part. archanaa or what ever her name is, did great. i just loved the jazz and her gloriously voluminous butt! hah! and the king, very convincing as a tyrannical dud.
in short, the musical was just marvelous! hehheh, im waiting for the DVD if possible. :) i wanna get my copy.

okees, i shall have to go. i have been trying a lot of reversi on the com. playing with experts... losing ALL the time. i won the beginners and intermediates easily. my next challenge: expert! to beat the expert to become a genius in reversi. no lah, all i can do is hope..

Yipee! i have good news!

before i start on this post, i realise i have been not updating as frequently as i should, thus i keep entering lots of outdated stuff. it feels kind of weird getting excited over outdated stuff(look at my title, it was genuine 2 days ago, now im past rejoicing). but i haiz, i always write about the passed past, but hey, i guess i couldnt write about the future too much, but i hope if time permits, i will try writing more of the present.

first of all, this past sun, ce finally shifted out of its almost ancient premises, the bible house to the very hotel-like premises, and its interior is really nice! bible house had a disgusting hall and rusted chairs. and the eating area was just so open-air(=hot), and always no place to sit! however, the new place has a great lounge where the youths can play mafia and the canteen is just so cosy! even the service chairs are far from rusting. can u see how i juxtaposed the 2 places? haha, im a product of pure lit! haha. i just love the environment of the place i want to go back to church!

on wed, i went to a doc, he's a very patient and very fatherly. he explained to me and my mom about my ear problem and told me that it'll clear. he even drew the ear passage out to illustrate. from then, i really calmed down, cos prior to that, i really thought that i was going to lose the hearing on my left ear forever. haha, im so looking forward to beong able to hear properly again.

and finally, i shall conclude by saying that im very very very excited about tennis tomr! :) HAHA!

Past week

second week of school has passed! everything has been fine except for a few bouts of cough every now and then during class. i have cleared off 40% compre for english. i must admit i like english lessons with miss ong (i dunno why). maybe it is because i feel very relaxed and i can talk with diane and elyssa. BUT when mr dan came in, i dont really fancy his lessons... first of all, i have to make out his accent, i have to get used to it. :( then he also asked directs questions at me evry now and then.. duh!
this past week, i have discovered something every disgusting with my body. this few days, i have been expelling thick and humongous and bloody and yellow and all the disgusting things you noe about phlegm. this phlegm has been the most disgusting one i've ever ever ever had in my 15 years and 4 months of life.
and oh btw, i have been watching lovers in prague with my second sis! she's finally open to korean dramas. thanks to toon hwee! haha. she likes it! and i like it too! and there's this particular soundtrack i like from the show. and it is being currently played on my blog. :) i think i sort of have begun to appreciate k-pop quite a lot.
okay, gotta go! :)
