All about this week

-----------warning! this post is super long n wordy! see if u have time then read it :)------------
certainly my this whole entire week of school has been full of trips out of school, except for wednesday, when we stayed in school for a programme. it basically goes like this:
monday - changi museum
tuesday - ura n chinatown
wednesday - financial planning in school
thursday - zoo
and friday(today) - the health promotion board
okay lemme go into detail for each outing, i will try to type everything my memory permits me.

monday
first half of school was spent in class, my clique played uno n after which i did my music theory homework. then recces followed, it was when we got to noe that we were going out to changi museum(cm). my clique was very surprised n excited, glad that we would be spared of 3 hours of boredom in class. feelings of due to an impromptu outing. glad that we would be spared of 3 hours of boredom in class.(we hadn't informed our parents about this beforehand!)and we were glad too that we would be spared of the next 3 hours of boredom in class. however we soon found out that we were going there not to just enjoy reading the information at the museum, we were going there to search for answers to source-based questions based on what we learnt there. furthermore our answers would be graded n put into our term 4 marks. the only boon was that we could work in groups, that was i could work with my clique.
when we reached the cm, we started cracking, hunting high n low for answers. we all had a high competitive spirit as we strove to finish all the questions n was frustrated whenever we couldn't find the answer to a question. after everything, my legs were tired from all the walking, got back to school n handed papers up. hope my clique n i do well for the questions!

tuesday
this day i went to the ura, on the whole, the trip was more of tiring then fun, other than the FOOD n the pictures we took. we were divided into 2 groups between our A n B classes, fortunately my clique was still together. when we got there, we met the omg lady. she one really hilarious lady. whenever a someone answered her question, she would scream 'oh my god!' though i don't really approve of that phrase, it was really interesting to see her soooooo enthu while many of the students were stone.
my group went around the trail to the different stations n participated the the different games, i learnt how to spell sri mariamman temple n learnt more about the stories of chinese deities. the stories were really interesting n im glad got hear them. at the ura building i learnt more about singapore's population density which is like 8000plus people per km2. the most li hai city was hong kong with 14000plus people per km2.
last of all i went to eat at maxwell hawker centre. shared chicken rice n sugarcane juice with elyssa. u noe the best way to save money is to share food with ur friend... haha. i still wasn't satisfied n went on for another cup of sugarcane juice n a tub of pineapple tarts shared with esther. now u noe that i have a very good appetite most of the times, n that i if im unhappy, u can become cheer me up once u give me good food!

wednesday
this day, i stayed in school for financial literacy. this programme was not bad n much better than i had expected. our instructor ms gena chen, aka fei po, was quite good to us, giving us a sweet for any right answers we gave. janice was really smart here, she won quite a number of sweets, n most of the sweets were eaten by me. :) sweetie sweet! lastly we played some board game, diane was the richest n elyssa the poorest. i was second, not bad for me already haha.

thursday
this day was the most tiring day i think. but it was a really a great time for photos n teamwork in my clique. treasure hunt was really frustrating as the zoo though not really big but we never knew if we had missed any answers or where to find the answers. however we managed to do it and got a 12/20! well done my clique, we're great. harhar.
animal show! the three shows were not bad, i liked them cos we could sit down finally n that was when we took most of the pics. the show presenters did a good job n though i would have been excited to see amanda (my church friend) presenting instead. overall i had a good time at the zoo thanks to the friends that were with me.

friday
hmmmm..today was ...okay! watched a really cool movie for pe. it is called jump in. i love all the skipping parts as i've never seen them before n doubt that i'll ever see them in singapore.
then at 1015, we set off for hpb. we had a talk on 'the other side of sex' n learnt a lot about love, sex, and STDs. as usual, we had to answer a question sheet. later on we went to tour the health zone. the place was not bad, being colourful. i also played the sumo game with my clique. with the help of a few classmates, we managed to exceed the record of 280kg by 6kg! that was a great accomplishment that through teamwork, we did it. on the bus back to school, had lots of fun siting at the side of where the driver sat, my whole clique sat there except for esther. esther could not get a place there cos someone took up too much space. haha (jkjk, no offense!) took some pics. n we finally reached school late at 2.06pm.
this marks the end of this entry, im so relieved, finally got everything down in words. :):):)

okay i really got to go, chinese tuition's in an hour n i haven't done the homework!
