Diane's birthday celebration

oh man! i realised i havent blogged for such a long time. shucks! well lemme just treat this blog more for my diary to recount on everything significant that happens.
let me start off with diane's surprise birthday celebration on mon! i was actually sort of the brainchild of this thing cos it was my idea in the first place. n in school on the wed before last, when there was pe games, janice, elyssa, esther and i were really furtive among ourselves, n diane was getting a little suspecting and a bit unhappy. but, well we were planning something pleasent for diane - her birthday celebration!
after a few days of 'tedious' planning, we finally pulled it off. we told diane to meet us at ps at 11 to catch a movie, while the rest of us actually went much earlier to prepare her present and buy the movie tickets. our next plan was to trick diane into finding us for a duration of 45mins, by then it would be in time for the movie.
then at 11am, diane called me to ask me where to meet, i replied auntie anne's. then she when she was there, the rest of us tricked her n said that we were there but couldn't find her. then told her to meet us at the cinema to buy tickets (p.s we had alreadty bought them) then a gain she couldnt find us, that's because we were hiding in mark's n spencer! we were there buying our fav caramel and choc candy while our poor friend was looking for us high n low. in there, janice who is so corny told diane to meet at the 'final' place at billabong with a 30% off store wide in the basement. as u noe that billabong in ps does not exist, well this was part of our plan to torture the birthday girl.. n in mark's n spencer, elyssa, esther n i could not control laughter because of janice! she was so crappy and so funny! after she cut off the line, we all let out a guffaw.
next plan was to hide in the toilet and pretend that we were in ts. so when diane called janice again, i had to pretend that i was introducing a korean serial to elyssa. n esther was helpless, she was unsure of what to do as she did not like the idea of tricking diane too much. lol.
finally it was time to watch the movie the nanny diaries, so we decided to drop the act n meet at diane at the cinema, this time for real :) when met diane, i could tell that she was quite pissed, but i think she forgave us soon enough then we went to purchase popcorn and drinks. oh yes n this time i got privilege the pink container after janice who brought back home from our last outing.
the movie was fine though there were some fun parts especially the scene when annie was in the car in the song freedom was being played in the back ground lol! janice almost wanted to sing along!
after the movie, we went for lunch, it was then i realised i had left my walletat the cinema. had this unpleasant encounter with a cinema staff. he was a teen, i must say that he was very impatient! to cut the long story short, i got my wallet back and then janice n i shared a bowl ban mian and the irritating auntie who criticised our chinese. it was just because we didnt noe how to say anchovy in chinese. janice n i were so pissed and felt like asking her whether her english was half as good as ours. janice said that we are students and even so in school we do not go n specialise in learning the names of food... lol!
then we went outside of ps to sing her birthday song and blow the candles. btw the cake was bake by my mom n i! and then we gave her the present, we instructed her to put them on and walk around, if not we would be(actually act)angry with her (the present cost us quite a lot) . they were a tiara and a pair of butterfly wings. (for pics go n see elyssa's blog!) diane was quite embarrassed, but she decided to be guai and follow what we wanted her to do. :)
so that's about all that happened on that very day of fun and celebration. :)
